Sometimes it Helps to be Late.
The advantage of not driving,
Of sitting on trains and platforms
Doing nothing for hours are thus:
Saint-like patience can be instilled,
Along with the benefit of thinking for hours
On many subjects,
Which you probably wouldn’t get the chance to if you drove.
People move
From car to house, to work, from hall to living room,
To TV, music, radio, girlfriends, boyfriends.
